[…] Marco Lo Russo aka ROUGE, internationally renowned performer, performer and artist, is among the protagonists of the new accordion-centered music scene. Composer, arranger, conductor, producer of his record label and recording studio Rouge Sound Production, musicologist, as well as lecturer in several Italian and foreign conservatories, is considered among the most representative contemporary Italian musicians of the new generation. Eclectic, with musical interests ranging from classical music to jazz, from world music to tango to electronic contamination, he has received numerous awards and appreciations from numerous artists such as Ennio Morricone, Leo Brouwer, Nicola Piovani, Pupi Avati, Piera Degli Esposti, Lina Sastri and Giorgio Albertazzi, just to name a few. He has composed music for TV, cinema, theater, musical productions and boasts prestigious collaborations from Nicola Piovani to Leo Brouwer and the Ente Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. Lo Russo performed in the presence of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis.
He collaborated in the production of various musical productions for the Sanremo Festival, from Daniele Silvestri to Chiara Civello and was a finalist as a producer at the Eurovision Song Contest Lithuania 2017.
