Marco Lo Russo at International Festival of Music Leo Brouwer, Cuba

Marco Lo Russo is going to come back to Cuba for the 6th edition of the International Festival of Chamber Music Leo Brouwer. It ‘a great honor for Marco Lo Russo (who will represent Italy), called to play in one of the most important Cuban musical events: Leo Brouwer is one of the greatest guitar players and composers of contemporary classics.
Marco Lo Russo will share the stage with many artists: among themwe can find Bobby McFerrin, Chucho Valdés, Jordi Savall and Yo-Yo Ma.

The solo tour of Marco Lo Russo concludes the summer in northern Italy

Marco Lo Russo will continue to perform during the next September, with three concerts in the northern Italy. The first is scheduled for Wednesday, September 3 at Pietra de ‘Giorgi (in the province of Pavia, Italy), within the festival Up-to-Penice in collaboration with Valtidone Festival. During the concert, Marco Lo Russo will share the stage with Antonio Spaccarotella: with their accordions, the two musicians will play a traditional repertoire (waltz, tango and South American rhythms) revisited in a contemporary way.

Marco Lo Russo in Modern Accordion, concerts for solo accordion

After the successful tour that saw him playing in Poland with Agnieszka Chrzanowska, Marco Lo Russo come back to Ponza Summer 2014. The event, in the beautiful Italian island of Ponza, is going to host Marco Lo Russo on Thursday, August 21 at 21:30 on the Caletta stage.
Our hero will play his Modern Accordion project, where the traditional accordion’s melody will be contaminated with electronic sounds. (more…)
